This game is not your typical sniper game. Instead of assassinating your target, you save them from terrible events such as falling to their death, explosions, and other stuff. I also like the fact that you can switch scope visors, which sometimes help you out. It also has an amount of physics puzzles which are really challenging (DAMN YOU FERRIS WHEEL). However the last level seems broken, the stickman does not seem to take damage, and thus I could finish the level with a par of 19 in 4 shots.
Other than that : a good game which distracts from the absence of Stickman Sam 5.

io3creations responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed the game :) Yes, StickMan Sam 5 is coming soon ;)

Thank you for mentioning the last level. I disabled the damage to test something and was sure that I enabled it but apparently didn't :S However, based on the feedback, by the time you pass Level 9 and 10, you have the skills to finish the last levels easily :D

Good game

The platforming is solid, and the levels are challenging. There was also a lot of variety. The graphics were retro and the sound was good. Only too bad that the Eden Eternal Ad kept playing through. Next time you should try to get rid of those background ads.

dabrorius responds:

Thanks for the bug report, it has been fixed :)

FINALLY!

I completely finished your game. All 3 endings!

For Jay6 (Creator):
To be honest, I'm not really bitchin' on graphics. I did found Jade pretty contra-pony (Her colors made me think so). Also, the Super Filly art sucked. I was neutral about the Muffin art, and with Blank Flank, you gave some pretty heavy shit. Too bad it was a bit blurry. (btw could you please PM a link to the Screamer? I'm going to set that up as my wallpaper :D)
The 8- and 16-bit music was 1 of the things I liked about this game. I especially liked the Pokemon Boo-boo-badingding-machine sound, while preparing the muffins. I liked that extra touch. The stories where... random. You have just invited everyone to come to your party, and suddenly OMGWTFBBQ A FUCKIN DRAGON APPEARS U HAZ TO KILL IT NAO! (Super Filly). I'm not going to spoil the secret endings. Blank Flank did get my aortic pump working overtime, but the screamer didn't affect me. I also liked the references to Cupcakes.

For the gamers :
Here a no-spoiler guide for the endings :

Super-Filly : Get everyone on the list invited. Talk to Pinkie.

Muffin : Make shit-muffin. Donate to Derpy.

Blank Flank :
1) Set clock between 11pm and 5:59am.
2) Start game.
3) Hear every piece of dialogue including that of Pinkie before you've got all the invites.
4) Make good muffin. Donate to Derpy.
5) Check every piece of dialogue out again (also Zacosa's). Make sure not to trigger Super Filly.
6) Go to the Evergreen forest.
NOTE : Once you've reached the edge of Evergreen, and triggered Blank Flank correctly, it's one-way.

Jay6 responds:

I'll give you a PM for the blank flank ending image in a higher quality. I kinda have to laugh at the fact that you want it as your wallpaper. XD of course, the screamer in my game never really affected me either... since I made it, I guess. >_>; The only way it ever gets people is when they don't expect it, but that whole scenario should have hinted that it was leading up into it.
Thanks for the Feedback (and I guess a guide for my game too... but you don't need to start the game between 11pm-6am; the check for that is when you're heading into the Zacora screen).

It's too bad it's been split up

These are good drawings of the human body... and that's literally all I CAN say. I would've picked another soundtrack though.
What bothered me is that this is not really a game, and certainly not a tutorial. It's a wrong choice of genre, but honestly, I don't really know where to put this. But what bothered me most is the splitting in 2 parts.
You can avoid posting it in 2 parts by doing these things:
- Or you mail to Tom to check if it is worthy of being bigger than 10 megs.
- Or you screencap the images in the Flash and use them. You really don't need pictures of 3000x5000 (rough guess, correct if wrong) to show images that are shown as 900x1000. You can also compress the images lossless in a png format, or with a tiny bit of loss in a jpeg format.
These are only suggestions to compress it. You don't need to follow them.

poxpower responds:

I plan on submitting it around the web so I don't want to ask a bunch of webmasters for special favors anyway.

The images aren't scaled down. I mean, you can't crunch 216 images down THAT much :p

A very good music/bullet hell game.

The attack pattern generation works pretty damn good for a simple flash. The in-game graphics are pretty cool and the bosses we could play against were cool. Unfortunately, the generator generated a fairly easy pattern with lots of power-ups from 'Papillon' - The Editors. It got me into Overdrive Mode and even then it was easy to dodge the projectiles due to a fairly monotone pattern.
Also, I've put in the Final Boss music of Mushihimesama Futari (the hardest boss in a game so far) at 10.30pm (which is fairly late for me, you could say I'm a pussy) and still managed to survive without too much damage.
What I suggest is that you make a scale of how difficult the generator should make the pattern. This was clearly missing in the lite-version (haven't played extended yet, but I'm fairly sure it won't be there either).
Still, this is already a good start. It might be too early to judge because this game is still in development. Keep refining this jewel.

Tzai responds:

Hi alphabetabiatch1, good to know that you enjoyed it! The difficulty level is due to balancing of the game to cater for players with different skill ranges. In later stages the bosses are harder, they fire more bullets and crazier patterns when given an intense track. Thanks for the feedback!

I lolled

You can fill in anything you want, even nothing. Here's my version of 'THE JOURNEY':

One day, José got lost en route to Antwerp and had to stop and ask directions from a strangely crappy man. 'Ah,' he said, before pointing east, and listing his instructions.

'You take a left after' 13435 yards, go past the pudding - be careful it's a bit shitty on the corner after that - and then you're going to want to continue for over 9000 km until you come across the SNUH-KUH-SNUUH!! sanctuary. Be careful there, they tend to get pretty slutty at this time of night.

With that, José tipped brown to the kind stranger and continued on his way in his bacon. As he passed out of sight, the stranger chuckled nerdy and cast aside his disguise, and revleaed that he was in fact the Nostalgia Critic! What dire fate lays in store for you? Tune in next week to find out!

Little-Rena responds:

lol, well glad you enjoyed it

Good game.

I had a lot of fun playing this. The music was good, the levels were balanced, and the graphics, although retro, were... retro. It was a bit on the easy side for me to get the medals though, but I guess the difficulty of the game compensates for that. However, after a while it gets repetitive. Still an extra point for doing it in 24 hours with only 3 people

thinking-man responds:

Thank you :D

Well...

It is what it is: a cowboy avoiding shiny spikes. The art is sometimes pretty contradictory. You put in nearly realistic images of guns, but the in-game objects look simple. You tried perspective, but it doesn't work with the sprites moving up. The music is pretty good, but some actions don't trigger sounds(eg. when you hit the spikes it should make a TCCHK-AAH sound, but it doesn't make a tone) and jumping and sometimes collision are a little awkward.
Still, you did this in only 3 days, so that's pretty impressive, but it's not the best game jam entry.

MCarsten responds:

Hey, thanks for review. Yeah I tried to get some perspective, most of the all the art in this game were done by me :P so that is why I guess lol. Thanks for like the music. I'm not going to lie to you, I REALLY searched for the spike sounds as said but I didn't found any but I really would like to meet one :) Thanks again for review :)

Good game

Especially because it was made in 3 days. However I won taking only 5 hits and it was way to easy. Still, the theme was pretty annoying to choose a decent story, but you still dit a good job on it. (btw I don't puke rainbows).

RainbowHorse responds:

Your right, the game is a bit to easy. We would've fixed it if we had more time :)
(btw I'm sure your room is flooded with rainbows in liquid form :P)
